At Chaffin Creek Farm, we focus on building biodiversity, enhancing soil fertility, and regenerating the landscape to create a thriving ecosystem for future generations.
Chaffin Creek Farm is located at 233 Firth Heinz Rd, Pillar Valley, on the corner of Chard Close. When using GPS, enter "Chard Close" for the best route. Look for the big blue sheds and three blue water tanks. We ask that you park outside the farm gate and walk in to reach the farm.
For events, we recommend bringing comfortable clothing, footwear, a hat, reusable water bottle, a chair, note pad and pen. Light snacks or lunch depending on the event you are attending. We love and welcome any plants, cutting or garden gifts.
There is little to no Phone reception and no internet We encourage you to disconnect and enjoy the natural surroundings, but please reach out to us in advance if you have specific communication needs during your visit. By going down the road you can make a call.
Yes, we accept cash payments for events, products, and donations. As the farm does not have reliable phone reception or internet, we ask that you bring cash to ensure smooth transactions for any purchases.
There is parking outside the farm gate, down Chard Close, park and walk in to the farm. If you need assistance or have special parking requirements, feel free to contact us in advance.
Yes, we welcome donations of trees and plants that support our regenerative farming efforts and the enhancement of biodiversity. Trees and plants help us in our mission to build a stronger ecosystem. You can donate here
Workshops: We offer a variety of hands-on workshops throughout the year, focusing on regenerative farming, health, and other special interests such as art. Check our events page for the latest offerings.
At Events: During events, you'll often find books, farm products, and other items for sale. Please bring cash for all purchases, as the farm does not have phone reception or internet for card transactions.
Food at Events: Some events include farm-to-table meals or snacks available for purchase. Again, bring cash for food purchases, as card payments are not possible on-site.
Due to the farm's rural location, we do not have phone reception or internet to process card payments. Bringing cash ensures smooth transactions for all your purchases. It is also very dangerous to move to a cashless society.
Bringing a dog to the farm is considered on a case-by-case basis. We assess whether other dogs are invited, how they behave around cattle, kids, food, and digging. Please reach out to us ahead of time so we can discuss whether your dog can join you on your visit.
Yes, you can camp on the farm! We're slowly building infrastructure, so watch this space for updates. We offer a variety of camping site types, which you can find on Hipcamp.
Yes, we offer volunteer programs where you can help with farming activities, learn about regenerative practices, and contribute to the farm. Please reach out to us for more information on how to get involved. We are also open to farm sharing, if you are interested in growing food at Chaffin Creek Farm, reach out to us
We love to share knowledge and wisdom with our community, this is the intention of the workshops at Chaffin Creek Farm.
